Garden -- Resolution #2

I have been a neglectful gardener for many months now. Really ever since the heat of summer set in.
But Resolution #2 was to take care of my Garden.

First off--

The Back Bed--

While walking on the beach we got the idea of edging the back bed with coquina rocks collected from our beach.

And off we went collecting.

It took several trips and lots of HEAVY rocks --

I chose the rocks--he carried them--

We placed them around the bed--

Dean dug the line--

And then we edged the bed--pulling up the awful plastic edging that was there--

We didn't quite make it all the way around so we'll be heading back down the street to the beach for another load--

The shrubbery looks a little bit (okay alot) shabby--due to my neglect and the recent frost.

But one step at a time.

I'll post pictures of the whole bed once we finally get it done.

Now how's that for working on two resolutions at once.
